GAMMAGE AUDITORIUM
July 5, 2022

Month long showing in the Frank Lloyd Wright designed building. Believed to be his las public commissioned building. It is truely a magical building. The exterior walls curve into the interior of the building making it an unusual space but wonderful for an exhibit.

Kurt von Behrmann at the Prime

I want to thank the owner of the Prime Chinese Restaurant, www.theprimechinese.yolasite.com During their hours of operation, you can see my work, all of which is available for sale incidentally. This is such a great opportunity in that they have been serving great food in Phoenix for over 20 years, and their restaurant is the perfect space for exhibiting fine art.

What makes this event so special is the support of the owner, and their shared love of contemporary art. This exhibition represents my work dealing with handling the canvas in new ways and really stretching what painting can be. The work shown represents developments that took place over a five year span, perhaps longer where I really wanted to explore form, shape, expression, location, place and the tempo of the times in paintings that are abstract, and some that are vaguely representational.
